Welcome to the Southern Ohio Chrysalis R.O.C.S.
We are a community of youth (ages 15 and up) and adults who care about youth who have been a part of a Chrysalis Weekend Spiritual Life Retreat. Chrysalis is affiliated with the Walk To Emmaus community and serve as the youth component of that ministry. We are a part of the Southern Ohio Emmaus community.
Our main ministry is holding Flights (the Chrysalis Weekend Spiritual Life Retreat). We hold our Flights at the New Lexington First United Methodist Church. We begin on Saturday morning and end on Monday evening. We have a team of both youth and adults on each Flight and they are filled with laughter, friendship building, worship, prayer, learning, lots of food and tons of fun!
Our Girls' Flights occur in January on the Martin Luther King, Jr Birthday Weekend. The next one will be in January 2010.
The next Boys' Flights is scheduled for April 18-29, 2009.
